Xteink X4 Pro

I got this eReader in late-September 2026. So far, it is too early to give a proper review besides the little things;

The build quality is superb, I love the sleek design and the sturdy feel. It has a nice wieght to it and the screen is clear. The buttons are tactile and responsive, and the overall build quality feels premium.

I flashed CrossPoint Reader (alt) to it– specifically to get some other readability features I was interested in. Some stand-out features so far that I have come to immediately like are the built in dictionary, and the built-in light for the eink display, which makes reading in dark environments quite easy.

The main reason I got this is- I found that my mobile phone is very attractive to use whenever I find brief moments of boredom, when waiting for the train, bus, or waiting for something else. The distractions that platforms or applications on smart phones provide are potently addictive, and I have struggled myself to refrain from grabbing my phone when I am bored.

So, here I start reading.
